Hidden Pearls – 9 plate series

Hidden Pearls is a series of nine works about what lies beneath the surface. It focuses on value that is often overlooked because of appearance, distance, or cultural barriers.
 
Each plate represents a fragment of that idea. Not everything reveals itself immediately. Some things require a second look, a shift in perspective, or simply more attention.
 
The works are connected, but not dependent on each other. Together they form a layered whole. Individually, each piece carries the same underlying theme in its own way.
 
Subtle differences in texture and finish give every plate its own identity. What you see at first glance is not the full story, and that is exactly the point.
