FOMO – 3D artwork

FOMO shows a couple standing close together, almost touching, yet worlds apart.
 
It draws on the familiar Dutch image of the kissing farmer and farmer’s wife, once a symbol of simplicity and connection. In this version, that moment has shifted. The closeness is still there, but the attention is gone.
 
Both figures are absorbed in their phones. What used to be a shared moment is now divided, without distance in space, but with distance in experience.
 
FOMO captures that quiet shift. Nothing dramatic, just something that feels increasingly normal, and that is exactly what makes it striking.
